- Recruit, hire, and complete onboarding processes for various roles; front office medical receptionist, medical assistant, x-ray, and other positions
- Supervise, evaluate, and execute performance evaluations of non-provider staff
- Partner with Medical Director to ensure that medical care is delivered in accordance with physician instructions and that high-quality care is rendered
- Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures and state and federal rules and regulations
- Develop policies and procedures and protocols to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the organization
- Responsible for the implementation of new services.
- Educate providers on billing and coding issues and changes as well as documentation improvements.
- Ensure compliance of the clinical team to include quality controls, CLIA, informed consents, and adherence to universal precautions.
- Ensure that team member education is current and up to date at all times
- Maintain current and accurate listings for the organization to include participating insurance plans, employee rosters, provider rosters, etc.
- Ensure that all licenses for the offices, providers and team are current at all times.
- Ensure compliance with AHCA including current and accurate manuals in each location.
- Keep all practice manuals current and up to date.
- Assist in the credentialing of providers as needed.
- Lead and organize staff meetings, daily huddles, and in-service programs
- Spearhead the resolution of patient and staff concerns while continually monitoring patient satisfaction through various tools
- Ensure compliance with front office procedures and accuracy of financial transactions
- Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, and adequate stock of regular medical and janitorial supplies
- Monitor various key performance indicators and put programs in place for continual improvement
- Assist in marketing efforts to grow the business.
- Perform billing audits on a monthly basis and monthly chart reviews by Medical Director.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience opening new medical practices preferred.
- Knowledge of billing and coding required.
- A minimum of two year's experience working in a supervisory role in a medical office preferred
- Demonstrated skills in written, verbal, and consultative communications
- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines
